Peace out, pureed pears!

What do you know... another busy weekend with my Dads. It started off a little shaky on Saturday morning when I had my nine-month doctor visit. Everything's good, health wise — l'm just not a fan of being felt up by strangers (unless it's this one, super hot nurse). Anyway, the doc says I've grown a bit wider and taller (19 pounds and 29 inches). He did say I could advance to three full meals a day, that includes small bits of table food. I've already tasted pasta and chicken and let me tell you, I'm hooked.

After I saw the doc, we went down to the beach and I got to hang out with my cousins. Sam has mastered the art of peek a boo and Maisie still has a thing or two to learn about sharing. But I love them. They're my best friends.

By the end of the weekend, my Dads had these weird things under their eyes. I don't know what you call them, but they looked like dark bags. Whatever that means.

Saturday In The Park...

I had a great weekend with my Dads. I went to Coldwater Park on Saturday with my Papa's friends and then on Sunday I went to the Farmers Market and swam in our pool. My friend Colin came over to swim with me. Unlike the adults, he was well-behaved and didn't splash me.  After swimming, we all went to The Counter for hamburgers. My burger was delicious. And by burger, I mean Pear and Mango baby food.

My Dads are going to have a busy weekend Maxwell-proofing our house.

Nothing gets in my way, not even a step. Watch me crawl on my knees like a big boy.
Soon I'll be walking, eating Sushi and stealing my Papa's car. I'd steal my Dada's car, but it's a bit of a soccer mom car... and I've got a rep to protect.

I guess you can say I'm ticklish.

My Papa made me laugh today, and no, it's not because he took off his shirt. It's because he kept tickling me. Take a look below to see how cute I look when I'm cracking up.

It’s official. Welcome to my real modern family.

Well, it looks like I’m stuck with these two. I kid. I couldn’t be happier to have these two studs as my parents.  Yesterday, my Dads met with the judge to finalize my adoption. It was a family affair with lots of grandparents, including Muga, Papsi, Mommom and Poppy. My aunt Tash was also there (she even bought me a plush train set to mark the special day).

After we left the court we all went out to lunch and then back to my house to swim. Between you and me, I looked the best in a bathing suit. Just sayin’,

P.S.  I am one lucky dude to have two fathers who love me as much as Dada and Papa.  And to show them my appreciation, I’m going to stay up all night long… they love that!
