Over The Hill (in more ways than one)
Today, my Dada put together a brunch to celebrate Papa's birthday. It gave us a chance to head over the hill into Hollywood. All of Papa's friends were there (except a few d-bags that bailed at the last minute). The best part of the get-together was hanging out with my BFF, Colin (his Dads are really good friends with my Dads). I'm so glad Colin was there -- it would have been one pretentious affair without us little ones running amuck.

WE DIDN'T BUY A ZOO. But we did go to one.
While we're away over the holidays in Palm Desert, my Dads took me to the local zoo with Muga, Papsi, Aunt Tash, Uncle Drew and cousins Sam and Maisie.
I had a pretty good time. It was a little hot and I was a little tired, but overall, I'm glad I went. Where else would I see a live zebra (the one underneath my Dads' coffee table is dead).

National Lampoon's Palm Desert Vacation.
I just got back from my first family vacation. And what a vacation it was. We rented a little casita at the La Quinta Palm Desert resort. It was a family affair with Muga, Papsi, aunt Tash, uncle Drew and cousins Maisie and Sam joining us in accompanying houses.
It was the life. I got to swim in heated pools, go to a toy store on the premises, visit the Palm Springs zoo and eat lots of great meals with my cousins Sam and Maisie. I even got to hob-nob with the rich (Will Ferrell) and un-famous (John Tesh).
Plus, not to brag, but I've become quite the walker thanks to all the grassy knolls I played on.
It was the perfect way to ring in the New Year. And my Dads said if I'm a good boy in 2012, we can return next year. We'll see what happens.

National Lampoon's Blackstone Christmas.
Phew. I am wiped out from opening all my presents. I got a police car, a sand box, a singing Mickey, a Mickey pillow, a guitar and lots of learning toys. The one thing I wasn't so keen on? My Dads dressed me up like a real-life candy cane. Come on, fellas...
