National Lampoon's Philadelphia Vacation

My Dads learned a lot during my very first trip cross country. But before I get into all the lurid details, let's start with my favorite moment — when we surprised my Poppy for his milestone birthday. Since I'm a nice little boy, I won't reveal his age — let's just say he subscribes to AARP magazine.

Check out the unforgettable moment my Dads and uncle Larry surprised Poppy:

Okay, the big surprise took place thirty minutes after an all-night red-eye flight from LA to PA... and just five minutes before I puked all over myself in the car (must've been uncle Larry's driving). So I wasn't really in the mood. However, once we settled in and I marked my territory so to speak, things started to look up.

Mommom Helene hooked us up in the guest room with my very own crib that I spent all of 8 seconds in before screaming my ass off. Don't people know you can't take a little guy out of his environment? Well they do now. Now that I was in this new space, I decided to play a game with my Dads called "let's see how many days/nights I can go without napping or sleeping." They didn't love the game so much, but they braved through it.

While in town I got to meet my cousins Cole, Joss, Andrew and Rachel. I also got to hang out with Mommom Brenda, Poppop Jules, Aunt Amy and Uncle Scott. Then, there was a big party for Poppy and I got to meet all my east coast relatives for the first time. They were all super nice. And surprisingly, none of them sounded like Rocky Balboa. I also got to hang out with Uncle Larry's awesome girlfriend Ellen and her amazing family (who gave me some kick-ass hand-me-down clothes). Last but not least, I finally got to meet Dada's friend's from high school, Nicole (whose adorable daughter Eliza does a mean Britney Spears impersonation), Newly-married Janine, the always beautiful Jessica and her son Billy (he was super chill and let me play with his match box cars).

One of the big highlights of the trip was going to the Please Touch museum with Mommom Brenda and Poppop Jules. It was the coolest thing I've ever seen — I got to go food-shopping, play a "baby" grand piano, see a puppet show and walk through a fun house maze. I even got to put on a rain coat and play with duckies in a water pond.

President's Day Playdate

My Dad's good friend, Harold, invited us over to his house for lunch and I got to play with two other boys: Skyler and Rowen. They're both older than me, but that doesn't mean they've mastered the art of sharing. It's okay, I've got better toys at home! Kidding aside, I had the best time. Sky taught me how to slide down the stairs backwards and Rowan taught me how to say "NO!" to my Dads. Good times.

The Ark Has Docked

A few weeks back, my Dads took me to the Noah's Ark exhibit at the Skirball Cultural Center. I didn't learn anything about this Noah guy, but I did get to play, build, climb, explore, make music, make friends and make in my pants. Yep. It was bound to happen with all that excitement.

Check out some pics.

P.S. The best part was getting to play with my cousins Sam, Maisie and aunt Tash.
