My second father's day had me swinging from the vines...

First and foremost, I want to wish my Dada and Papa a very happy Father's Day. They're not just good-looking (with great hair — hear that Dada?), they're also kind, warm, genuine, patient, loving and super funny. That makes me the luckiest kid in the world. And for those of you who are wondering, I swear my Dads didn't make me write this. They actually wrote it themselves.

Our day started off great because I gave my Dads the ultimate father's day present — I slept through the night. But don't get too use to it, it was only because I couldn't afford an actual present. Still waiting for that tooth fairy to show up. Sigh.

We started off the day at the local Farmer's Market. I even got to ride a pony. But something was off. I think it was too smelly for me, because I started crying. Ergo, I won't be including any photos of me actually on the horse (but I swear I rode it).

Then, my Dads took me to our annual Father's Day trip to the Los Angeles Zoo. It was pleasant. Nothing amazing. But better than sitting on the magic rug at home getting read Green Eggs and Ham. I did come across some monkey-things that were super cool and super loud (check out the pic and video below). They were literally swinging from the vines.

Hands down, the highlight of Father's Day was when my cousins, Sam and Maisie, Aunt Tash, Uncle Drew, Muga and Papsi came over to swim. My Dads even heated the pool, despite the expense (that wasn't a "my Dads are cheap" dig, I swear).

All-in-all, a great day. I love my Dads more today than yesterday... but not as much as tomorrow.

My Dada went to London and all I got was this lousy... t-shirt?

I missed my Dada so much during his business trip to London, but fortunately he was only gone a few days. And it didn't hurt that he brought me back cool presents... like a miniature double decker bus and authentic black taxi. Plus, Dada got to spend time with Papa's family while he was in London. And Uncle Martin and Cousin Victoria also sent over fabulous presents for me. So I have awesome family members in Los Angeles, London and Philadelphia. I guess that makes me an international baby.

Cheerio.

Max's First Fro-Yo.

I've been waiting for this day. But my health-conscious Dads kept putting it off. But a couple of weeks ago Dada was sad about going on a business trip to England without me... so he caved and decided it was time for me to try my first frozen yogurt. Lets just say I forgot all about Dada's trip --- this is some good shit!
