Sweet November.

With my 3rd Birthday right around the corner, I thought it would be a good time to update you on how things are going.

First off, ever since my Dads built me my very own bathroom right next to my bedroom, they've been trying to enforce a "using the potty" rule. Totes annoying. Like, why would I want to get out of bed if I can stay warm and pee in my cozy diaper? I just don't get the upside.  Here's the deal. I'm totally cool peeing in the potty — but #2, nah, not quite ready for that. Deal with it. But as you can see by this photo, I am loving the whole "wash my hands" thing.

Also, I'm in a big-boy bed now.  My Dads were so worried about the transition... but it's been going well. Probably because I haven't figured out that I can leave my room whenever I want.  We'll see how things progress.

Lets see, what else... I went to a fun birthday party last week for my friend Chase. We took a group photo together. I'm the cute, well-behaved one... second row on the right.

My Dads took me to a store and told me I could get anything I wanted. I thought how generous. I wonder what the sign outside stood for. It said "EVERYTHING'S A DOLLAR." Regardless, I loved my rocket launcher. See for yourself.

Not much else new to report.  I did wake my Dads up at 5am the other day. I was just lying in my bed thinking, I'd really like a donut. So I screamed for them to come get me. And I flat out told them "I want a donut."  Who has the energy to argue with me at 5am. Not these guys!

Trick-or-Treat Xs 4?

This year I couldn't decide what I wanted to be for Halloween. One day I wanted to be a fireman (so my Dads bought me that costume), the next day I wanted to be a real truck (so my Dads bought that too).  Then, once Halloween came around, I decided the material on the costumes were too itchy. So I said I wanted to wear my own clothes. My Dads improvised. Check it out.

As you can see, my Dads did pretty good. I wore my comfy black sweats to be a cat at my pre-school party and then wore my Batman pajamas to go trick-or-treating with my Dads. I gotta admit, I am one lucky fireman/truck/cat/superhero!

Parental guidance in full effect.

Guess who paid me a visit last weekend.  No, not Dora.  Even better  — my Grandparents! Mommom and Poppop came by for an early birthday celebration. And take note everyone — the birthday gift bar has been set very high! Check out the awesome garbage truck they bought me. I'm pretty obsessed —  in fact, my dads think I need a garbage truck intervention.

And what would be a proper visit without a little singing and dancing.

Thanks, guys. Can't wait to see you again soon.
