Papsi's San Diego Birthday Bash

My Dads and I spent the weekend in San Diego to celebrate my Papsi's 70th birthday! Wow, that makes him roughly 68 years older than me.  Anyway, it was the best weekend ever. I got to hang out with my cousins Sam and Maisie, plus Muga, aunt Tash and uncle Drew. We rented a house on the beach, ate amazing meals and got sand stuck in all my crevices. My Dads said I didn't sleep at all, which apparently annoyed them. So to make up for it, I slept the entire ride home.

The Natural History Museum didn't suck...

Can you believe it?

When my Dads told me we were going to the Natural History Museum for the day, I thought --- "ugh, can't I just watch a marathon of Dora The Explorer instead." But I played along and, much to my surprise, the museum was kick-ass. They had life-size lions, tigers and bears. And I was even able to touch their fur.  I also got to see and touch dinosaur bones. All that educational stuff aside, the best part of our day out was when my Dads bought me an ice cream sandwich.  I was so happy, I did a special dance.  Take a look:

MY FIRST KISS.

It's true. It happened. And hopefully it's just the beginning. Here's how it all went down. My Dads took me to get a fly new haircut before we headed to my favorite park.  So I was feeling pretty high and mighty with my new hairdo, when all the sudden a cute girl, a bit older than me, started playing beside me. That proved to me she was buying what I was selling, so to speak. So I did what any guy would do. I got on my knees, leaned over and planted a kiss on her cheek — one she'll never forget. My Dads caught it all on tape. The one thing I'm unsure of... is why she ran away screaming "Gross!"

Maybe she couldn't handle the Max-man.

Prowling for chicks.

Making my move.

Leaving her wanting more : )

HERE'S WHAT YOU MISSED — January through May 2013

My lazy Dads are never going to get around to updating my blog with all the amazing stories these past four months — so I'm here to do it all in one souped-up blog entry.  Sit back, relax and get ready for more cuteness than you can handle. Four months worth.

STAY IN SCHOOL. Max's first day of pre-school!

Well, it was bound to happen sooner or later. Now that I'm a toddler, inevitably, I'd have to start pre-school. The good news is, after touring 18 schools, my Dads found me a great one... and it's right near our house. Since, I'm only two and a half, I'm only going a couple mornings a week because I have to get back home in time for my nap (my Dads say I'm a 'handful' when I don't have a nap... whatever that means).

My teachers, Mr. Keisha and Ms. Maria, teach me lots of things. Like colors, days of the weeks, numbers, letters, arts and crafts and music. All that said, my favorite part of pre-school is hanging out with all my new friends: Finn, Skyler, Eloise, Lian, Robin and Nico.

Check out some photos from my first few days (and video of a song my Dada sang me on the way to school).

National Lampoon's Desert Vacation...

Hey followers.  I'm back to tell you all about the fun I've had these past few months.

I last blogged right around the holidays.  Around New Years, my Dads took me to the La Quinta resort near Palm Springs. I know what you're thinking, "Palm Springs is like a gay nursing home."  True. But, we stayed at an amazing resort with tons of pools, playgrounds and restaurants. And the best part of all, my Muga and Papsi were there too!

Ever the hipsters, my Dads insisted we lunch at The Parker (a hotel full of gorgeous models and their out-of-shape sugar daddies). It was so much fun. When I wasn't hitting on all the ladies and playing life-size Chess, I found time to pose for a few family photos (one too many, as you'll see below).

Another day on this trip, we all went to the zoo, where there was the world's largest model train city.  But my favorite part of the day is when I got to feed an actual giraffe with my Papa.

At the end of these fun-filled days, it clearly didn't take long for me to fall asleep (with or without my PJs).

I can't wait to go back next year!
